The camel toe is real with these. It’s hard finding a good pair of biker shorts that don’t ride up. I’m usually a size small, but I’m a little “thicker” around the back side and thighs so I always encounter sizing issues. I have to constantly pull these down while I’m walking so I just wear them around the house now.

I bought these shorts b/c they were recommended by a few people in my running group. As I am in the middle of my weight loss journey, I didn’t want to break the bank but I did have some important requirements. I was looking for something with a longer length that did not cut into my leg fat AND that did not ride up into the Zone of No Return while I was exercising.
My “before run” photo is me after having just put the shorts on before doing light stretching and doing a 1 mile run/jog. As you can see the hem hits just above my knee, which is a satisfactory length for me, but it did cut a little into my leg fat. It wasn’t uncomfortable or pinchy though, so I was willing to give it a try. (Not pictured, the shorts also rose up to and over my belly button, so they are high waisted and even all the way around my natural waist. Again, this is ideal and exactly what I wanted.)
My “after run” photo is me after having just worn the shorts while doing light stretching and doing a 1 mile run/jog. For some reason the shorts rode up only on my right leg and pretty much stayed in place on the left. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but at least the legs weren’t totally devoured up into the Zone of No Return and I didn’t feel the need to slow down or stop to fix the shorts-leg. (Not pictured, the waist of the shorts ended with the back side sliding down a little bit but the front part stayed in place. A little uncomfortable afterwards but this didn’t bother me the entire time I was running; in fact I didn’t notice it until I stopped.)
These shorts are NOT see through at all.
In conclusion I took off 1 star b/c there was still a little ride-up and slicing into my leg fat BUT they were very comfortable and stayed mostly in place throughout my workout. So I would def recommend these to you!

I love these shorts!
I accidentally bought two pairs about 10 months ago-and I wear them almost daily.
To the gym, around the house, running errands, just because…they are so comfy, have not faded or lost any elasticity AT ALL, and top band is amazing.
I’ve had three kids-I have a mom tummy, and finding shorts that don’t dig in or roll is nearly impossible!
These stay pretty much where I put them and stretch with me all day.
And rhe pockets are deep and also stretch.
I can put my phone, headphone case and a whole bottle of water in each pocket and it fits!
I definitely plan to order some more!

I love the baleaf brand of leggings and workout shorts! My favorite things about them are the pockets and the soft fabric. These were perfect for my trip to Universal Orlando! The pockets were great for easy access to my phone and cash, and I never felt like anything would fall out of them. They are overall just super comfortable and the fit is perfect. For reference I am 5’7″, 167lbs, 41″hips, 35″waist and I had previously purchased the pants in a Medium at my pre covid size and they were getting a bit snug so I got these in a Large and they fit very comfortably.

At last, after trying so many different pairs, I have finally found my perfect long leg shorts! These tick all the boxes I need, breathable, comfortable, do not chafe, help flatten out the tummy and provides light support for my hips and back.
Note the different material compositions between the different colours. I first bought the black pair which are entirely man-made fiber. See my photo, 87% Polyester 13% Spandex. They provide great support and don’t move, but they are not breathable. Fine to wear for short periods but I need all day support and they left me chaffed.
This pale grey pair are as described with the cotton content and comfortable to wear all day, they don’t move, ride up the leg or roll down on the waist, and are so comfortable!
Tip: I recommend using the height and weight part of the size chart to find your size. To get some compression and support I found my size on the size chart and then sized down. So normally I am an XL but purchased the L and they fit perfect for what I need. I wear them as underwear to provide support as I am on my feet all day. They also wash well and come out looking good as new.

I ordered an XL in the purple, and also XL in black as I’m a UK14. However, the waist in both is too big and the leggings start slipping as soon as I put them on. They don’t feel supportive or compression-like at all in this size so I’m going to order L and compare the sizing then.
Material seems good quality in the purple shorts though. Not squat proof IMO. If I squat in the purple, you can see the outline of my underwear and if I’m wearing too dark or too light underwear, you see the colours through the fabric. The black shorts, not squat proof at all! Even in a size too big for me, you can see all my underwear and the white label in the shorts too. These will be limited to being worn under t-shirt dresses and very long tops rather than actually being used to workout in.
I’m impressed with the length of these shorts. And the pockets are handy too. Not enough women’s gym wear comes with proper pockets, so this is a great feature!
Hoping to update my review once I get a size that fits better!

These are not an XL. There’s just no way. I’m needing to return them to get TWO sizes bigger. I’m 5’2” and weigh 188 pounds. I ordered the XL (which is what I usually always order in this brand). It is way too snug. I can get them on, but they are uncomfortably snug. I’m worried if I was to work out in them, I’d bust a seam. You also can see every dimple that my butt and legs have In them because these shorts are so tight. The fabric outlines everything, I mean everything (camel toe included). It’s just a bad, ugly fit. I’m now going to return them for a XXXL because I’m afraid the XXL will still fit too snug for my likes since this size is already so uncomfortably tight.
Now the color is BEAUTIFUL!! I got them In the coral color and I cannot say enough about that. It is really a pretty coral color. The fabric is soft, not near as soft as a more commonly known company’s leggings/shorts are but tolerable. The fabric is not sheer at all. You can see nothing through these and being as tight as these are, if the fabric was sheer, you’d see a whole lot. But you don’t.
I can’t speak of the rating for working out because I haven’t had the chance to use them for that yet. But they seem durable. Durable and pretty enough I’m returning and ordering in the correct size.

I am 5’7 and ~115lbs, size 26 in denim, and I took a size small in these shorts.
The shorts were easy to pull on, however, the material had a weird sheen to them which I didn’t like – the shorts look a lot more matte in the photos. The hem of the shorts around the thighs felt very snug and that the seam could burst at any moment, and my thighs are very slim. The shorts didn’t seem to have any compression effect and they don’t feel as comfortable on as I expected. They gave me a slight cameltoe and for ladies who want to use these in the gym, I don’t think these shorts are squat proof either.
My sister purchased some ALONGFIT leggings from Amazon which I tried and found flattering and comfortable, so I purchased these bike shorts hoping to have similar results. Unfortunately for all the reasons stated earlier, these shorts were a miss and I sent them back. I wouldn’t personally pay more than $15 for a pair of these.

I have these shorts in so many colors now, I really love them! The white is more see-through than I expected, since the material is pretty thick, so that is disappointing, but I would buy any other color again! I like the long ones, but I have one pair of the 5” and the pockets are still nice and big, easily for a large phone or even a small tablet! They are so so comfy!
I bought a large, and it fits perfectly, I wear a size 31-32 in pants and have quite a large booty and they fit great! They’re pretty stretchy, too, so a size bigger or a size smaller would also likely fit 🙂

Terrible, I read all these great reviews and I was extremely disappointed. I’m a size 10 so got a medium. They are tight on the legs and bum but slack on the waist. The material is thick and not stretchy enough and the body isn’t long enough so they constantly fall down in the back.
They are uncomfortable, poorly made and do not move with your body during basic things such as walking so I definitely couldn’t work out in them. I am extremely disappointed in them as there are so many good reviews on here. Ended up buying flex high waisted Shorts from Gymshark which were a million times better than these terrible shorts. Waste of money do not buy!

I have other products from bayleaf I have been pleased with so I was dissappointed to find that these shorts fit quite funny. The bottom seam is quite tight for the size and there isn’t as much stretch in the leg as I would like. Oddly, the waist band is actually looser than expected for the size and also not very high waisted. I was able to workout in them, but didn’t feel very comfortable because as I bent over (used for rowing and cycling), it exposed my back/ underwear since the waist band was low and too loose. I couldn’t hitch them up higher because the legs were quite tight. The fabric is more cottony than spandexy so doesn’t wick moisture very well compared to other fabrics I’ve worn in bike shorts.

I’ve bought this leggings in 5 different colors so far… I’m a thick girl, most of my weight I carry on my thighs/butt and I was looking for a comfortable yet flattering pair of bottoms that I could use on the daily, workouts and even casual going out. These are perfect for that. I got an XL and they fit well, on the tighter side but I like that. The first ones I purchased I’ve used them for over 18 months and they are still holding on. It’s maybe starting to be a little more sheer and flimsy but still perfectly fine. No threads loosing or breaking. I highly recommend them.
The “brushed fabric” ones (that are a little more expensive) fit a lot looser because of the material (it’s stretchier) , they are way more comfortable and soft but maybe consider sizing down on those if you want a tighter fit 🙂
